Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (Pediatric ACNP) - Summary
- Serve as a key provider in a nationally recognized Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).
- Lead care coordination for pediatric trauma, neuro, medical, and surgical patients.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, family-centered care.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive assessments and develop care plans for pediatric critical care patients.
- Coordinate interventions for trauma, neurological, medical, and surgical cases in the PICU.
- Work closely with attending physicians, nursing staff, and allied health professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with patients' families, providing education and support during critical care admissions.
- Participate in patient rounds, case discussions, and interdisciplinary meetings.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice within the unit.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulatory requirements and hospital policies.
- Remain flexible with scheduling, including day and night shifts.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner with Acute Care Pediatric certification (Pediatric ACNP).
- Minimum of two years' experience in pediatric critical care or a related acute care setting preferred.
- Proven ability to manage complex and critically ill pediatric patients.
- Excellent clinical assessment, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- BLS, PALS, and other relevant certifications as required.
