Payroll Tax Specialist - Summary
- Oversees payroll tax functions within the SAP payroll system in a multi-state environment

- Resolve payroll tax questions and issues from employee groups, providing clear and effective communication
- Work closely with the payroll team to process weekly tax withholdings and address any discrepancies
- Monitor all payroll tax filings and notices, ensuring each is handled in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Test and implement changes to tax rates and calculations in collaboration with IT teams
- Document and maintain payroll tax procedures, supporting process improvements and regulatory compliance

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of recent payroll experience using an ERP platform, preferably SAP, in a multi-state payroll tax environment
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations and best practices
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Demonstrated ability to handle payroll tax filings, reconciliations, and compliance with regulatory guidelines
- Experience with ADP Smart Compliance is considered a plus but not required
