Duties & Responsibilities
- Address and resolve employee payroll inquiries, escalating complex issues to the Payroll Administrator as appropriate.
- Clearly communicate payroll policies and procedures to employees, ensuring understanding and compliance.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records by entering data into the ADP Payroll system and verifying information for completeness and accuracy.
- Produce and distribute termination checks and process retroactive pay adjustments when necessary.
- Reconcile billing data to calculate and issue biweekly moonlighting payments for the hospitalist group, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance colleagues to ensure all payroll-related activities are compliant with policy and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in special payroll runs on-site as needed, demonstrating reliability and flexibility.

Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary coursework in payroll, finance, or accounting is an asset.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in high-volume payroll processing, preferably in a healthcare environment such as hospitals or clinics.
- Proficiency in payroll management systems, with specific experience using ADP strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
- Reliable transportation for on-site special payroll runs as required.
- Valid California Driver’s License is mandatory.
