As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for processing payroll for over 60,000 employees, including both union and non-union staff across multiple regions. Payroll Specialist - Summary
- Responsible for the accurate and efficient processing of weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly payrolls.
- Ensure payroll compliance for a large, multi-regional employee base, including union and non-union personnel.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to organizational payroll policies and procedures.
- Serve as a point of contact for payroll-related inquiries, providing exceptional customer service to internal teams.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Process multiple payroll cycles for a workforce exceeding 60,000 employees.
- Gather, analyze, and summarize payroll and financial data to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
- Enter employee information, execute payroll runs, and generate necessary reports.
- Manage manual checks, stop payments, and payroll adjustments as needed.
- Stay current with updates to payroll systems and procedures, ensuring ongoing compliance and efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with operational staff and employees to address and resolve payroll questions or concerns promptly.
- Uphold data integrity and confidentiality in all payroll-related processes.

Qualifications & Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree or technical training preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in payroll processing, data entry, or a related field.
- Experience with payroll software systems such as ADP and/or Kronos is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
