Payroll Director - Summary

- Coordinate with HR and Finance to reconcile payroll data and ensure alignment with accounting practices.
- Manage upgrades and implementation of payroll and HRIS systems, including testing and end-user training.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop payroll team members, providing ongoing training and performance feedback.
- Respond to payroll-related inquiries and resolve issues in a timely, customer-focused manner.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5-7+ years of experience in payroll management or a similar leadership position.
- 3+ years of direct people management experience.
- In-depth understanding of union contracts and collective bargaining agreements.
- Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local wage and hour laws, including prevailing wage regulations.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 suite.
