Patient Service Representative (PSR) - Summary
- Acts as a primary point of contact for patients at a healthcare facility, providing administrative and clerical support.
- Ensures accurate documentation, scheduling, and coordination of patient care services.
- Manages confidential patient information in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

- Document and record patient appointments, billing details, insurance plans, and other confidential information using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and billing software.
- Perform accurate and detailed clerical work, maintaining organized files and records for patient services.
- Prioritize daily tasks and coordinate multiple activities to support effective office operations.
- Operate standard office equipment, including computers and word processors, with proficiency.
- Exercise initiative and sound independent judgment within established guidelines to resolve issues and improve processes.
- Make accurate arithmetic calculations related to billing and recordkeeping.
- Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients, including those who may be ill or uncooperative.
