Patient Services Representative - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Delivering positive and effective customer service to support operational efficiency
- Collaborating with referring providers and healthcare practices to coordinate patient care
- Obtaining required authorizations to facilitate accurate patient and staff scheduling
- Scheduling patient appointments and supporting patient encounters throughout their experience
- Recording, forwarding, and triaging calls for urgent information or services, including initiating calls for emergency services as needed
- Processing patient admissions and discharges in a timely and organized manner
- Providing routine clerical and administrative support to healthcare teams
