Patient Access Representative - Summary- Serves as the first point of contact for patients in a healthcare facility
- Responsible for patient registration, insurance verification, and financial data collection

- Utilize PC, CRT, and printer systems to manage patient records and documentation
- Work closely with clinical and administrative staff to coordinate patient flow and scheduling
- Manage cash reconciliation and apply patient liability collection techniques appropriately
- Provide patients and families with clear information regarding billing and insurance procedures
- Respond promptly to inquiries and resolve issues effectively in a fast-paced environment

- 0-1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare or medical facility setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic typing skills with a minimum of 35 words per minute
- Experience with PC, CRT, and printer usage
- Familiarity with insurance verification and basic medical terminology
- Understanding of hospital financial and privacy policies
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of patient liability collection and cash reconciliation is advantageous
