Pathologist (MD/DO) - Full-Time

Palm Health is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Pathologist (MD/DO) to join our established medical team. In this full-time Pathologist (MD/DO) role, you will benefit from a favorable schedule with no weekend or on-call duties, allowing for an excellent work-life balance. The anticipated start date is April 2025, providing ample time for a smooth transition. You will be working with an advanced EMR system (EPIC), facilitating efficient case management and communication. The workload consists of approximately 15-30 cases per day, including a varied mix of small biopsies, cytology, gynecological, dermatological, and large surgical cases. The laboratory staff includes a team of five full-time pathologists, two part-time pathologists, three pathology assistants, and four cytotechnologist screeners, ensuring a high level of support for your diagnostic duties. Pathology assistants handle all gross specimen work, enabling the Pathologist (MD/DO) to focus exclusively on microscopic diagnosis and interpretation.

Your role as a Pathologist (MD/DO) will involve comprehensive diagnostic evaluation on a variety of specimens, close collaboration with clinical professionals, and participation in multidisciplinary case reviews. You will have an integral role in upholding laboratory quality assurance and compliance with accreditation standards.
