The medical staff includes five full-time pathologists, two part-time pathologists, three pathology assistants, and four cytotechnologist screeners, ensuring a team-based approach to diagnostic excellence. Pathology assistants manage gross specimen preparation, enabling the Pathologist (MD/DO) to focus on microscopic analysis and interpretation.
As a Pathologist (MD/DO), you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive diagnostic evaluations across a variety of specimen types while maintaining the highest standards of quality assurance and compliance with laboratory accreditation. You will have the opportunity to participate in multidisciplinary case reviews and tumor boards, collaborating closely with clinicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The anticipated start date for this Pathologist (MD/DO) position is April 2025, with no weekend or on-call responsibilities, offering an optimal work-life balance.
