Parts Washer - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Clean metal parts to remove all foreign materials, preparing them for painting and final assembly.
- Inspect parts for defects, including missing welds and other inconsistencies, to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Manually dry all cleaned parts before moving them to the next stage of production.
- Load and unload metal parts onto and from parts trees and carts.
- Roll loaded carts into and out of the spray cleaning area to facilitate thorough cleaning.
- Unload carts from ovens as required by the cleaning process.
- Maintain the cleaning system, including regular checks and maintenance of hoses, spray guns, and related equipment.
- Remove sludge and clean the sludge pit to prevent buildup and maintain equipment effectiveness.
- Coordinate the flow of components with other manufacturing departments to ensure a smooth production process.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by management in support of operational needs.
