Pain Management Physician (MD/DO, ABMS Board Eligible/Certified) - Summary
- Permanent, full-time opportunity in an established pain management practice

Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct patient consultations and comprehensive follow-up evaluations
- Coordinate care with community physicians and healthcare providers
- Design and oversee pharmacologic management strategies for pain and related conditions
- Perform interventional spinal and peripheral procedures and injections, utilizing ultrasound and fluoroscopy guidance
- Participate in trial procedures for implanted infusion pumps and neurostimulation devices
- Develop new patient referrals and enhance community awareness of the practice’s services
- Contribute to organizational success through teamwork and leadership
- Engage in teaching, mentoring, and supervising mid-level practitioners
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to patients and support to their families

Qualifications & Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pain Management
- Completion of an ABMS-accredited fellowship in Pain Medicine
- ABMS Board certification/eligibility in Pain Medicine (must achieve certification within one year of employment if not already certified)
- Unrestricted medical license to practice in Maryland
- Valid DEA license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- Favorable malpractice history
