Pain Management Physician (MD/DO) OverviewOur Anesthesiology and Pain Consultants group is actively seeking a dedicated Pain Management Physician (MD/DO) to join our multidisciplinary team in Memphis, TN. This full-time opportunity is ideal for physicians passionate about providing comprehensive, patient-centered care for individuals affected by chronic and acute pain. Our organization is committed to utilizing a multidisciplinary approach to assess, diagnose, and treat pain-related disorders, combining interventional procedures and medication management to help patients achieve relief and improve their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients experiencing chronic or acute pain, utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Develop and implement individualized pain management treatment plans, including interventional procedures and medication management as appropriate.
- Collaborate closely with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to provide integrated and multidisciplinary care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with industry and legal standards.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in pain medicine, incorporating up-to-date treatment modalities into patient care.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding pain conditions, available treatments, and lifestyle modifications.
- Participate in ongoing professional development, clinical meetings, and training sessions as required by the practice.
- Travel between the Memphis, TN, and Northern Mississippi locations, which are conveniently located within close proximity (approximately 13 miles apart).
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Pain Medicine or Chronic Pain.
- Fellowship training in Pain Medicine preferred; new graduates and fellows are encouraged to apply.
- Residency in Anesthesiology preferred but not required.
- Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PMR) candidates considered if boarded in Pain Medicine.
- Current, unrestricted medical license in Tennessee or eligibility to obtain prior to start date.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality patient care.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with a multidisciplinary team.
