The ideal candidate must be comfortable with repetitive tasks and physical activity, as well as maintaining accuracy and attention to detail during each step of the process.
In addition to primary packaging duties, the Packaging Operator will be tasked with labeling each bag or box using lot codes, ensuring each package is properly identified for tracking and compliance. You will verify the net weight of each package using electronic scales and confirm the integrity of each seal, whether stitched or heat-sealed. Following all company policies and procedures is essential, as this ensures compliance with quality and safety standards.
This position requires the ability to lift up to 25 pounds consistently throughout the shift. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, be punctual, and demonstrate reliability in meeting daily production goals. Previous experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment is a plus, but not required. Training will be provided to ensure you are comfortable with all equipment and procedures.
