OT Cybersecurity Architect - Summary
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure OT and ICS architectures.
- Develop reference architectures, blueprints, and roadmaps aligned with industry standards such as NIST 800-82 and IEC 62443.
- Integrate OT security with enterprise IT controls to ensure end-to-end protection of critical systems.
- Advise on and deploy cybersecurity technologies tailored to industrial environments.
- Perform consequence-based risk assessments to identify, analyze, and prioritize cyber risks.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead design and implementation of secure OT/ICS network architectures, including segmentation and secure remote access.
- Develop and maintain security reference architectures, ensuring alignment with NIST 800-82, IEC 62443, and other relevant standards.
- Evaluate, select, and implement OT/ICS cybersecurity technologies, including but not limited to Claroty, Palo Alto Networks, Cradlepoint, CrowdStrike, BeyondTrust, Cisco, ServiceNow, Splunk, and TxOne.
- Conduct security validation and acceptance testing to ensure OT systems comply with defined security requirements and best practices.
- Perform consequence-based risk assessments such as Cyber PHA to prioritize and mitigate cyber risks in OT environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, engineering, and operations, to ensure cohesive security strategies.
- Stay current with emerging threats and advancements in OT cybersecurity, adapting security strategies as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a strong focus on OT/ICS environments.
- Proven track record in designing and implementing OT security architectures in industrial settings.
- Hands-on experience with cybersecurity tools such as Claroty, Palo Alto Networks, CrowdStrike, BeyondTrust, and SIEM platforms like Splunk.
- In-depth understanding of industrial protocols such as Modbus, DNP3, and OPC, as well as OT network architectures.
- Experience performing risk assessments using methodologies such as Cyber PHA.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
