Orthopedic Surgeon, MD/DO - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct orthopedic assessments, diagnose injuries and conditions affecting bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, and muscles.
- Develop and execute comprehensive treatment plans, including surgical and non-surgical options.
- Perform elective and emergency orthopedic surgeries such as fracture repair, joint replacement, arthroscopy, and ligament reconstruction.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation specialists to ensure holistic patient care.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care, including patient education and follow-up assessments.
- Maintain accurate, detailed medical records and documentation in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Completion of an accredited orthopedic surgery residency program.
- Board certification or eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS/AOBOS).
- Valid state medical license and DEA registration.
- Demonstrated experience in performing a wide range of orthopedic surgical procedures.
- Strong clinical, diagnostic, and surgical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
