Orthopedic Physician Assistant (PA-C) - Summary
- Provide outpatient support within a specialized orthopedic clinic, focusing on foot and ankle care.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments, including detailed histories and physical examinations specific to orthopedic conditions.
- Provide clinical support for foot and ankle outpatient care, managing approximately 18 patients per day.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in coordination with supervising physicians.
- Educate patients and their families about diagnoses, treatment options, post-care, and preventive health strategies.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including imaging and laboratory studies relevant to orthopedic care.
- Document patient encounters, maintain accurate medical records, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Coordinate follow-up care and collaborate with ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes.
- Adhere to clinic protocols and maintain a safe, inclusive clinical environment for all patients.
Salary & Benefits
- Competitive contract-based compensation structure, with a 1099 hourly rate.

- Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekend, on-call, or surgical first-assist duties required.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Active and valid California Physician Assistant license (PA-C).
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
