The majority of your workdays will involve direct patient care in the clinic, including conducting pre-operative and post-operative assessments, assisting in minor procedures, and managing follow-up care. Additionally, you will have duties that require you to participate in patient rounding as well as provide on-call coverage during evenings and weekends. Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the orthopedic clinic, including patient evaluations, consultations, and follow-up visits.
- Assist physicians in orthopedic surgical procedures as needed.
- Conduct pre-operative assessments and post-operative management for orthopedic patients.
- Participate in daily hospital rounds to monitor patient progress and coordinate care with the healthcare team.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for on-call duties, addressing urgent patient needs during nights and weekends.
- Document all patient encounters and care plans accurately in the electronic medical record system.
- Maintain strong communication with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure quality outcomes.
- Adhere strictly to all organizational clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
