The Orthopedic Physician Assistant (PA-C) will play a vital role in the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and post-operative management of patients admitted for a variety of orthopedic conditions. The scope of practice includes managing cases involving hips, knees, upper extremities, foot and ankle, and pelvic injuries or conditions, while excluding spine cases. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong knowledge base in orthopedics, possess current certification and licensing, and exhibit excellent communication skills to enhance patient care and team collaboration.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive inpatient care for a range of orthopedic cases, excluding spine.
- Evaluate, assess, and manage patients with hip, knee, upper extremity, foot and ankle, and pelvic conditions.
- Assist in post-operative care and monitoring, ensuring adherence to treatment protocols.
- Document patient progress, update medical records, and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to patient care planning.
- Educate patients and families on post-operative care and recovery expectations.
- Support the team in maintaining a safe, efficient, and patient-focused environment.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Current and valid Physician Assistant (PA-C) certification.
- Active state licensure required.
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications.
- Demonstrated experience in orthopedic care, preferably in an inpatient setting.
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
