Oracle Interface Integration Engineer (HL7, OPENLink) - Summary
- Design and support Oracle OPENLink interfaces within Oracle Millennium environments, focusing on healthcare integration.
- Develop, test, and maintain HL7 v2.x interfaces to support a variety of clinical and administrative workflows.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze specifications and deliver scalable, reliable integration solutions.
- Work closely with cross-functional IT and clinical teams to ensure seamless information exchange between systems.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and develop Oracle OPENLink interfaces within the Oracle Millennium ecosystem.
- Build and maintain HL7 v2.x interfaces, supporting message types such as ADT, ORM, ORU, SIU, DFT, MDM, and MFN.
- Configure OPENLink interface routes, perform data transformations, mapping, code set integrations, and manage communication protocols.
- Support both real-time and batch integrations between core clinical systems and external entities, including labs, radiology, pharmacy, billing, and HIEs.
- Analyze complex interface specifications and interpret business requirements to create tailored integration solutions.
- Troubleshoot, monitor, and optimize interface performance in mission-critical healthcare environments.
- Perform unit testing, validation, and provide ongoing support for integration solutions.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen to comply with security and regulatory requirements.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in healthcare system integration, with a strong understanding of clinical workflows and health information exchange.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle OPENLink architecture, including interface design, configuration, development, testing, and production support.
- Expertise in HL7 v2.x message standards and healthcare interoperability protocols.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve production interface issues in high-stakes, mission-critical environments.
- Proficiency in performance tuning and optimization of healthcare interfaces.
