As an Operational Technology Engineer, you will work in close collaboration with engineering, IT, operations, and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) teams. Your primary mission will involve ensuring the operational stability, reliability, and continuous improvement of the organization’s advanced distribution management system (ADMS), outage management system (OMS), and related platforms. Your work plays a crucial part in outage management, switching operations, data integrity, and the overall effectiveness of power delivery to members and customers.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Administer, configure, and maintain the Outage Management System (OMS) within the Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) platform.
- Perform system upgrades, integrations, and ongoing enhancements to critical operational platforms.
- Monitor and support electric distribution operations, ensuring system reliability and availability.
- Assist with grid switching activities, outage restoration efforts, and maintaining system integrity during routine and extraordinary events.
- Manage outage workflows, operational data, and reporting initiatives.
- Conduct system modeling, data validation, and analytics to support improved operational decision-making.
- Collaborate across business units to support technology initiatives, software integrations, and asset management.
- Provide technical guidance to operations personnel and SCADA technicians.
- Participate in major outage restoration and emergency response activities as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (required); preferred disciplines include Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering. Other engineering fields may be considered.
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification is preferred but not required.
- Sound understanding of three-phase power systems, AC/DC circuit analysis, transformers, and electrical distribution fundamentals.
- Experience or exposure to SCADA systems, Outage Management Systems (OMS), Distribution Management Systems (DMS), industrial automation platforms, and control system technologies.
- Background in electric membership cooperatives, municipal utilities, investor-owned utilities, electric distribution, or industrial manufacturing environments utilizing automated control systems is preferred.
- Direct utility or cooperative experience is highly desirable.
