Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) - Summary
- Provide perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical or invasive procedures
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary surgical team
- Follow AORN Standards and hospital protocols to ensure quality patient outcomes

Duties & Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for surgical patients
- Prepare operating rooms and ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are available and sterile
- Circulate during surgical procedures, assisting the surgical team and anticipating their needs
- Advocate for patient safety throughout the perioperative process
- Document all aspects of patient care accurately and timely
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals
- Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives and staff education

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of two years acute care nursing experience
- At least one year of travel nursing experience required
- Active Registered Nurse licensure meeting all state and facility requirements
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- NIHSS certification for acute care settings
- Proven experience in Trauma, Orthopedic, and Robotic surgical procedures
