Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) - Summary
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to surgical patients in the operating room environment

Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are present and functional
- Conduct preoperative assessments and verify patient identification, surgical consent, and allergies
- Assist in positioning and prepping patients for surgery according to protocols
- Provide sterile instruments and supplies to the surgical team during procedures
- Monitor patient status intraoperatively and respond rapidly to changes in condition
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, medications, and activities in the operating room
- Support post-anesthesia care and facilitate patient transfer to recovery areas as needed
- Follow strict infection control, safety, and quality assurance guidelines

Qualifications & Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum two years of acute care experience required
- Completion of a Surgery Technician course is required
- Operating Room Technician certification is highly desirable
- Experience in acute, long-term, and/or institutional healthcare settings (minimum two years)
- Strong clinical skills, adaptability, and ability to work collaboratively within a team
