Oncology Physician Assistant (PA-C) – Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed patient assessments, including history taking and physical examination for oncology inpatients
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with oncology physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and laboratory results
- Initiate and manage medical therapies for oncology patients under physician supervision
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and ensure prompt escalation of care for acute changes
- Provide patient and family education on diagnosis, treatment options, and ongoing care requirements
- Coordinate care transitions, including admissions, discharges, and referrals to outpatient services
- Participate in weekend night rotations as part of the standard schedule
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and uphold evidence-based clinical practices
Salary & Benefits
- Competitive annual compensation ranging from $140,000 to $175,000, plus annual APP incentive plan

Qualifications & Requirements
- Current Physician Assistant (PA-C) certification and state licensure
- Advanced clinical training or experience as a hospitalist, in transplant care, emergency medicine, or oncology preferred
