Occupational Therapist (OT) - Summary
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP (Individualized Education Program) goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to develop and implement strategies that promote student engagement and functional independence.
- Support classroom management and contribute to positive behavioral interventions.
- Monitor, document, and report student progress as a member of the educational team.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized plans for student support.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assess students’ functional abilities and needs within the educational environment.
- Develop tailored therapy interventions to enhance students’ abilities to participate in school activities.
- Implement evidence-based occupational therapy techniques and adapt interventions as necessary for optimal student outcomes.
- Consult with educators and parents to support the integration of therapy strategies in the classroom and at home.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation of services provided, progress notes, and evaluation reports.
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, progress reviews, and other collaborative planning sessions.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Demonstrated experience providing occupational therapy services in an educational or related setting.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain accurate records.
