As an Occupational Therapist (OT), you will treat a diverse caseload across hospital-based and outpatient settings, working with patients from pediatrics to geriatrics. The role offers a unique opportunity to split your time between inpatient responsibilities during the morning and outpatient care in the afternoon, based on patient volume and clinical needs. Occupational Therapist (OT) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans for patients of all ages
- Deliver therapy services in both inpatient and outpatient settings, adjusting daily responsibilities based on patient volume
- Work with a caseload of approximately 8–12 patients per day, addressing a wide range of conditions such as orthopedic injuries, developmental delays, neurological impairments (including stroke and Parkinson’s), spinal cord injuries, trauma, and post-surgical recovery
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals, including physicians, nursing staff, and rehabilitation technicians, to optimize patient outcomes
- Document patient progress and treatment in compliance with Medicare standards and accreditation requirements
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, self-care strategies, and rehabilitation goals
- Participate in the development and implementation of new clinical programs, including upcoming pediatric services
- Support and mentor less experienced staff and contribute to ongoing clinical education within the department

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy required; Master’s degree preferred
- Active state Occupational Therapist license required
- Ability to assess patient and family needs and develop personalized care plans
- Familiarity with Medicare standards and documentation requirements
- Understanding of healthcare accreditation and regulatory compliance
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills preferred
- Affiliation with the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) recommended
