Occupational Health Physician (MD/DO) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive employee health assessments, including pre-employment, periodic, and return-to-work evaluations
- Diagnose and manage work-related injuries and illnesses, ensuring timely and effective care
- Collaborate with employers and safety teams to develop and implement workplace health and safety programs
- Provide medical advice on workplace ergonomics, exposure risks, and regulatory compliance
- Maintain thorough and accurate medical records in accordance with legal and ethical standards
- Educate employees and employers on preventive healthcare practices and injury prevention
- Serve as a resource for health promotion and wellness initiatives in the workplace

Qualifications & Requirements
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution
- Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice
- Board certification in Occupational Medicine or relevant specialty preferred
- Proven experience in occupational health or related medical field
- Strong knowledge of OSHA guidelines and workplace health regulations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
