Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Summary- Provide outpatient occupational health services to a diverse working population
- Participate as a key member of a collaborative clinical team
- Deliver high-quality care focused on workplace safety, injury prevention, and regulatory compliance
- Contribute to a supportive and efficient work environment with predictable hours
- Conduct pre-employment, return-to-work, and fit-for-duty physical examinations
- Evaluate, manage, and follow up on occupational injuries and illnesses
- Perform Department of Transportation (DOT) examinations and maintain DOT Medical Examiner Certification
- Order, interpret, and communicate results of laboratory studies and diagnostic imaging
- Provide workers’ compensation evaluations, documentation, and follow-up care
- Conduct medical surveillance, exposure evaluations, and occupational health screenings
- Complete substance testing as required for compliance and workplace safety
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and ancillary staff to ensure coordinated care
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in accordance with regulatory standards

- Valid DEA and CDS registrations
- Current DOT Medical Examiner Certification required
- Experience in occupational medicine and workers’ compensation case management preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced outpatient setting and manage a daily patient panel of approximately 20-25 individuals
- Experienced Adult Nurse Practitioner (NP) passionate about occupational health and workplace wellness
- Proven ability to conduct regulatory examinations, such as DOT and fit-for-duty assessments
- Skilled in managing work-related injuries, providing follow-up care, and supporting workers’ compensation cases
- Collaborative, adaptable, and able to thrive in a team-oriented outpatient environment
