Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Summary
- Provide outpatient occupational health services to a diverse working population

Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-employment, return-to-work, and fit-for-duty physical examinations
- Evaluate, manage, and follow up on occupational injuries and illnesses
- Perform Department of Transportation (DOT) examinations and maintain DOT Medical Examiner Certification
- Order, interpret, and communicate results of laboratory studies and diagnostic imaging
- Provide workers’ compensation evaluations, documentation, and follow-up care
- Conduct medical surveillance, exposure evaluations, and occupational health screenings
- Complete substance testing as required for compliance and workplace safety
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and ancillary staff to ensure coordinated care
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in accordance with regulatory standards

Qualifications & Requirements
- Board Certified Adult Nurse Practitioner (NP) with a current, active license
- Valid DEA and CDS registrations
- Current DOT Medical Examiner Certification required
- Experience in occupational medicine and workers’ compensation case management preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced outpatient setting and manage a daily patient panel of approximately 20-25 individuals
