Obstetrician (OB Physician) - Summary
- Serve as a key member of the clinical team, specializing in obstetrics and women's health.
- Provide comprehensive prenatal, perinatal, and postnatal care to patients.
- Adapt to a flexible, locum assignment schedule in KY while delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, multidisciplinary care.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical exams and medical histories.
- Diagnose and manage a variety of obstetric conditions and complications.
- Provide prenatal care, labor and delivery management, and postpartum follow-up.
- Educate patients and families about pregnancy, childbirth, and women’s health topics.
- Perform and interpret diagnostic tests and prenatal screenings.
- Consult with other physicians and health professionals as necessary for patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in accordance with organizational protocols.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to best practices in obstetric medicine.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Completion of an accredited residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology required.
- Active, unrestricted medical license and DEA registration.
- Demonstrated experience in obstetrics and women’s health care.
- Strong clinical, diagnostic, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards.
