The role requires performing a wide array of in-office procedures such as endometrial biopsies, IUD and Nexplanon insertions/removals, hysteroscopies, colposcopies, and LEEP. There is an option for call coverage, offering flexibility based on provider preference.
The position requires a commitment to consistent shift coverage, with typical hours scheduled Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Providers are expected to work four to five days per week, ensuring continuity of care for patients. Credentialing is streamlined, with an approximate timeline of 60 days, allowing for prompt placement and onboarding. The facility is committed to supporting locum tenens professionals by covering travel expenses, easing the transition for out-of-area providers.
Candidates must hold an active medical license in the state or be eligible through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC). Additionally, an active DEA license for the state is required, with the option to transfer credentials if necessary.
