We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Obstetrician Gynecologist (OB/GYN) Physician for a locum tenens assignment. This is a highly sought-after opportunity for an OB/GYN Physician to join a reputable healthcare team on a contract basis. The OB/GYN Physician (Locum Tenens) will work collaboratively with advanced practice providers (APPs) and a multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality patient care. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekend or on-call duties required, allowing for excellent work-life balance. You will be responsible for managing an average daily patient load of 20 to 30 individuals, ensuring each receives thorough and compassionate care. Candidates must be proficient in performing amniocentesis and comfortable with both routine and complex outpatient OB/GYN cases.
As an OB/GYN Physician, you will play a vital role in delivering preventive care, diagnosing and treating gynecological conditions, and managing obstetric patients throughout various stages of pregnancy. The role may also require periodic inpatient consults, supporting continuity of care for patients who transition between outpatient and hospital settings. The ideal candidate will be board-certified or board-eligible, with a current license to practice medicine in New Jersey or an active IMLC certification. In addition, up-to-date CDS and DEA registrations are required, along with completion of a relevant fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine (MFM).
