Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to patients, including preventive care, diagnosis, and treatment of reproductive health conditions.
- Manage deliveries, including both routine and high-risk pregnancies, in a state-of-the-art Family Birth Center equipped with a Level III NICU.
- Perform gynecological surgeries and procedures in one of the six modern operating rooms and Surgery Center.
- Participate in a shared call schedule rotation with additional support from Laborist coverage to ensure optimal patient care and work-life balance.
- Collaborate closely with over 50 employed primary care providers and maintain strong relationships with community healthcare professionals for coordinated referrals.
- Utilize a full complement of services, including Breast Health, Genetics, Diagnostic Imaging, and Laboratory support, to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Work alongside experienced clinic staff in an established and stable OB/GYN practice environment.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with hospital policies and regulations.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing medical education to stay current with the latest advancements in obstetrics and gynecology.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology (BC/BE required).
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of Louisiana (or eligibility to obtain licensure).
- Demonstrated clinical competence in both obstetrics and gynecology, including surgical skills and experience managing high-risk pregnancies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
