OBGYN Physician - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide the full scope of OBGYN services, including prenatal care, labor and delivery, postpartum care, and surgical gynecology
- Conduct well-woman exams, cancer screenings, contraceptive counseling, and management of gynecological conditions
- Diagnose and treat women’s reproductive health issues with evidence-based medicine
- Collaborate closely with midwives, gynecologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in on-call rotations as scheduled
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records according to regulatory and organizational standards
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and respectful environment for patients and colleagues
- Support and mentor midwives and residents as appropriate
- Adhere to all Joint Commission, FTCA, and FQHC compliance requirements

Qualifications & Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree required
- Completion of an accredited residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OBGYN)
- Current, unrestricted medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
- DEA license and all relevant state and federal credentials
- Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience working within a multidisciplinary team preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
