OBGYN Physician - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care, including routine check-ups, prenatal and postnatal care, and labor and delivery management.
- Perform gynecological surgeries, minimally invasive procedures, and diagnostic assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients based on evidence-based practices.
- Educate patients on preventive health measures, reproductive health, contraception, and family planning.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for coordinated patient care and participate in case discussions and consultations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing medical education (CME) activities.
- Support and mentor medical staff, residents, and students as appropriate.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Completion of an accredited residency program in obstetrics and gynecology.
- Board certification or board eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OBGYN).
- Active and unrestricted medical license to practice in Illinois or eligibility to obtain one.
- Strong clinical skills in both obstetric and gynecological care.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
