- Serve an average of 22-24 patients per shift
- Engage in collaboration with CNMs and multidisciplinary teams
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient obstetric and gynecological care, including examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up care.
- Perform routine and advanced gynecological procedures such as endometrial biopsies, IUD insertions/removals, and Nexplanon insertions/removals.
- Evaluate and manage prenatal and postnatal patients, ensuring adherence to best practices in maternal health.
- Collaborate closely with Certified Nurse Midwives and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Utilize the Epic EMR for accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters and care plans.
- Participate in rotating call schedules as needed, with call as an optional component of the role.
- Deliver patient education regarding reproductive health, family planning, contraception, and preventive care.
- Identify and address acute and chronic women’s health concerns, referring to specialists when appropriate.
- Ensure strict compliance with organizational protocols, state regulations, and clinical safety standards.
- Contribute to ongoing quality improvement and patient safety initiatives within the department.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Current and active Colorado Nurse Practitioner license or eligibility through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC)
- Active DEA license for Colorado or willingness to transfer credentials
- Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of one year of relevant clinical experience in OB/GYN settings
- Proficient in the use of Epic or similar electronic medical record systems
- Commitment to delivering patient-centered, evidence-based care
- Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills
