OBGYN Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN) - Summary- Provide inpatient obstetrical and gynecological care in a hospital setting
- 24-hour in-house call coverage for ongoing scheduled needs
- Collaborate with faculty, APPs, and CNMs for comprehensive patient management
- Support a patient volume averaging 10 per day
- Manage and deliver care for obstetric inpatients, including both routine and high-risk pregnancies
- Perform vaginal and cesarean deliveries
- Respond promptly to obstetric emergencies and provide stabilization as needed
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
- Document patient encounters and follow hospital protocols for charting and reporting
- Participate in hospital rounds and contribute to care planning for each patient
