OB Hospitalist Site Director (OB/GYN Hospitalist Director) - Full-time

The OB Hospitalist Site Director position involves direct clinical care as well as operational oversight. Serving as the primary liaison between the hospital, medical staff, and the OB Hospitalist team, you will be responsible for ensuring that care delivery meets both organizational and hospital standards. You will partner closely with leadership including the Market Medical Director, Medical Director of Operations, and Vice President of Clinical Operations to implement best practices, address operational priorities, and drive continuous improvement.
As an OB Hospitalist Site Director, you will work to maintain strong, collaborative relationships with nursing staff, hospital administrators, and fellow OB hospitalist physicians and Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs). You will also play a vital role in onboarding and mentoring new clinicians, helping to instill a culture focused on quality, safety, and value-based care. Your ability to communicate clearly, enforce policies, and manage minor physician concerns ensures a cohesive and effective team.
This full-time opportunity requires a commitment to a minimum of five 24-hour OB hospitalist shifts per 28-day period, providing comprehensive patient care as well as leadership support. The role includes occasional travel to the hospital as needed to address onsite priorities and operational needs. As part of your responsibilities, you will collaborate with hospital leadership to identify opportunities for increasing labor and delivery utilization, contributing to the overall success of the program.

- Licensed to practice medicine in the state of the assigned site
- Highly relational with proven ability to build rapport with hospital and corporate staff
- Experience with obstetrical emergency care is preferred
- Demonstrates strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience working in hospital-based obstetrics
- Comfortable balancing clinical and administrative responsibilities
- Collaborative and skilled at developing positive working relationships
