Working as an OB Hospitalist Site Director (OB/GYN) enables you to shape the quality of maternal and neonatal care in a dynamic hospital environment. You will report directly to senior clinical leadership, such as the Market Medical Director (MMD), Medical Director of Operations (MDO), or Vice President of Clinical Operations (VPCO), and collaborate closely with hospital leaders to align program objectives with best practices and clinical goals. The position also involves mentoring and training new clinicians in value-based care, ensuring adherence to policies, and regularly addressing operational priorities on-site. This role requires flexibility, strong communication skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement in obstetric care delivery.

OB Hospitalist Site Director (OB/GYN) - Summary
- Lead the hospitalist obstetrics team to deliver exceptional, value-based care.
- Oversee program operations and ensure alignment with clinical and operational objectives.
- Work closely with hospital administration and medical staff to foster a collaborative environment.
- Mentor and train new clinicians in value-based care culture and best practices.
- Act as a key liaison between hospital leadership and clinical teams.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervise program operations to deliver high-quality obstetric care.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with hospital medical and nursing staff, as well as administrative leadership.
- Maintain strong relationships within the OB/GYN hospitalist team, including physicians and certified nurse-midwives.
- Report to senior clinical leadership (MMD, MDO, or VPCO) and collaborate to meet clinical and operational goals.
- Travel to the hospital as needed to address operational priorities and maintain program excellence.
- Train, mentor, and develop new clinicians in the value-based care model.
- Communicate and enforce clinical policies, procedures, and standards.
- Manage and resolve minor physician issues, escalating as appropriate to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with hospital and clinical leaders to identify opportunities to improve labor and delivery utilization.
- Commit to at least five (5) 24-hour hospitalist shifts every 28-day period.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN).
- Active medical license to practice in the state of assignment.
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport and maintain strong professional relationships with all stakeholders, including hospital leadership, hospitalist teams, nurses, staff physicians, and corporate staff.
- Preferred: Significant experience in obstetrical emergency care.
