OB Hospitalist Site Director (OB/GYN) - Summary
- Clinical and administrative leadership role within the OB hospitalist program
- Responsible for ensuring delivery of high-quality, value-based obstetrics care

Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee daily program operations to deliver top-quality obstetric care
- Build and maintain professional relationships with hospital medical and nursing staff, as well as administrative leaders
- Supervise and engage with the physician and certified nurse midwife (CNM) OB hospitalist team
- Report directly to the Market Medical Director (MMD), Medical Director of Operations (MDO), or Vice President of Clinical Operations (VPCO)
- Collaborate with hospital leadership and OBHG management to achieve clinical and operational targets
- Travel to hospital site as needed to address operational priorities and foster program success
- Train and mentor new clinicians in the value-based culture of the program
- Communicate and enforce clinical policies, procedures, and expectations
- Address and manage minor physician-related issues, escalating complex matters as appropriate
- Identify and implement strategies to enhance labor and delivery unit utilization
- Fulfill a minimum of five (5) 24-hour hospitalist shifts (or equivalent) within each 28-day period

Qualifications & Requirements
- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN)
- Current and unrestricted medical license in the state of practice
- Demonstrated ability to build strong, positive relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Significant experience in obstetrical emergency care preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Commitment to upholding value-based care principles and clinical excellence
