OB Hospitalist Site Director (OB/GYN) - Summary
- Leadership position within the OB hospitalist program focused on quality, safety, and operational excellence.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee program operations to ensure delivery of high-quality obstetric care across all hospitalist shifts.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with hospital medical staff, nursing leadership, and administrative executives.
- Foster collaboration within the OB hospitalist team, including physicians and certified nurse midwives (CNMs).
- Partner with regional medical directors and operations leadership to achieve clinical and operational goals.
- Travel to the hospital as needed to address operational priorities and support the hospitalist team.
- Lead onboarding, training, and ongoing development of new clinicians, ensuring a value-driven culture is maintained.
- Communicate and enforce clinical policies, procedures, and expectations to uphold quality and safety standards.
- Address minor physician issues proactively and escalate concerns to higher clinical leadership as necessary.
- Collaborate with hospital leadership and regional management to identify opportunities to optimize labor and delivery unit utilization and program performance.
- Maintain a visible leadership presence within the hospitalist program, supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in regular clinical shifts, with a minimum commitment of at least five 24-hour (or equivalent) hospitalist shifts per 28-day period.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN).

- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Significant experience in obstetrical emergency care is preferred.
