OB Hospitalist Site Director (OB/GYN) - Summary
- Lead the OB hospitalist team to deliver superior, value-based obstetrical care
- Serve as the primary liaison between hospital administration, nursing staff, and the OB hospitalist team
- Oversee program operations and clinical quality initiatives
- Mentor, onboard, and develop clinicians in best practices and organizational culture
- Collaborate with hospital and corporate leadership to support continuous improvement
Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee daily OB hospitalist program operations, ensuring quality care is consistently delivered to patients
- Establish and nurture strong working relationships with hospital medical staff, nursing teams, and administrative leadership
- Foster team cohesion within the physician and CNM OB hospitalist group
- Report directly to the Market Medical Director, Medical Director of Operations, or Vice President of Clinical Operations
- Collaborate with leadership at both the hospital and organizational level to meet clinical and operational objectives
- Travel to the hospital as needed to address operational priorities and support the hospitalist team
- Train and support onboarding clinicians, fostering a high-performance, value-based culture
- Communicate and enforce clinical policies, procedures, and expectations to all team members
- Proactively manage minor physician issues and escalate complex matters to appropriate leadership
- Coordinate with hospital leadership to identify opportunities to enhance Labor and Delivery utilization and patient experience
- Commit to at least five (5) 24-hour (or equivalent) OB hospitalist shifts per 28-day period

Qualifications & Requirements
- Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN)
- Active medical license to practice medicine in the state of assignment
- Proven ability to build positive, effective relationships with hospital leadership, colleagues, and staff
- Experience in obstetrical emergency care preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to upholding clinical policies, procedures, and best practices
