The OB Hospitalist Site Director (OB/GYN) position is a leadership opportunity within the OB hospitalist clinical team, focusing on delivering high-quality, value-based obstetric care within a hospital setting. As the OB Hospitalist Site Director (OB/GYN), you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the OB hospitalist program, ensuring the delivery of optimal patient care. This role includes collaborating with key hospital leadership, nursing staff, and the OB hospitalist team. The position reports directly to the Market Medical Director (MMD), Medical Director of Operations (MDO), or Vice President of Clinical Operations (VPCO), and will involve collaboration with these leaders to maintain and enhance clinical program quality and operational success. The OB Hospitalist Site Director (OB/GYN) plays a critical role in supporting the hospital's labor and delivery services, providing clinical leadership, and contributing to the ongoing professional development of the hospitalist team.

OB Hospitalist Site Director (OB/GYN) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee program operations to ensure delivery of high-quality obstetric care and adherence to value-based standards
- Build and maintain effective relationships with hospital medical staff, nursing staff, and administrative leadership
- Foster a collaborative environment among physician and Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) OB hospitalist teams
- Mentor, train, and support clinical staff in value-based care principles
- Ensure clinical policies, procedures, and expectations are communicated and enforced
- Address and manage minor physician issues, escalating as appropriate to senior clinical leadership
- Travel to assigned hospital as needed to support operational priorities and initiatives
- Collaborate with hospital and corporate leadership to increase hospital labor and delivery utilization
- Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives and organizational projects
- Fulfill a minimum of five (5) 24-hour OB hospitalist shifts (or equivalent) within each 28-day period

Qualifications & Requirements
- Board Certified OB/GYN Physician
- Licensed to practice medicine in the state of the assigned site
- Demonstrated experience and competence in obstetrical emergency care (preferred)
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships across multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-focused care
- Leadership experience or potential in clinical or administrative settings is an asset
