Working as an OB Hospitalist Physician (OBGYN), you will deliver direct patient care to women requiring obstetrical and gynecological services. Your expertise will be instrumental in managing labor and delivery cases, participating in daily board rounds, and serving as a safety officer to ensure optimal outcomes for all patients. Collaboration is key, as you will support community physicians and midwives, providing clinical assistance and coverage as needed. This role also requires adaptability to various shift models, with the majority being 24-hour shifts, as well as some 12-hour or mixed shifts.

OB Hospitalist Physician (OBGYN) - Summary- Full-time hospital-based position providing comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care
- Focus on high-quality patient outcomes, safety, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Key contributor to a well-established OB Hospitalist program
- Provide obstetrical and gynecological care to patients, including contraceptive services at applicable hospitals
- Deliver direct care to high-risk obstetrical patients, coordinating with Maternal Fetal Medicine as needed through telephone or video consultation
- Participate in daily Labor and Delivery board rounds to discuss patient care plans
- Serve as Safety Officer on Labor and Delivery, ensuring all patients receive the safest possible care regardless of primary admitting clinician
- Support community physicians and midwives by offering clinical assistance and practice coverage as requested
