OB Hospitalist Physician (OBGYN) - Summary
- Deliver obstetric and gynecological care in a hospital-based setting

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to obstetric and gynecological patients, including contraceptive services where available
- Deliver high-quality care to high-risk patients, collaborating with Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists as needed
- Participate in daily Labor and Delivery board rounds to ensure coordinated patient care
- Serve as the Safety Officer on Labor and Delivery, promoting the safest possible outcomes for all patients regardless of primary admitting clinician
- Respond to obstetrical emergencies and provide stabilization and acute management as necessary
- Offer clinical support and coverage to community OB providers and midwives, fostering strong professional relationships and teamwork
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in obstetrics and gynecology through continuous professional development and participation in CME activities

Qualifications & Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN Physician
- Current medical license to practice at the assigned site
- Demonstrated ability to build strong rapport with hospital leadership, interdisciplinary teams, nursing staff, and corporate colleagues
- Significant experience in obstetrical emergency care is preferred
- Commitment to the highest standards of clinical care and patient safety
