We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN Hospitalist) to join our clinical team. This role is critical to providing exceptional obstetrical and gynecological care, focusing on delivering high-quality patient outcomes through a hospital-based practice. The OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN Hospitalist) will be responsible for direct patient care, participating in labor and delivery board rounds, and ensuring the highest safety standards for all patients. The OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN Hospitalist) is integral in supporting community physicians and midwives, providing assistance as needed for clinical coverage and practice support. OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN Hospitalist) - Summary
- Serve as a core member of the hospital-based obstetrical and gynecological care team.
- Provide direct care to a diverse patient population, including high-risk cases in collaboration with Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists via telemedicine when necessary.
- Contribute to the quality and safety of labor and delivery services.
- Support clinical education and best practices for hospital staff and community providers.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care, including contraceptive services where applicable.
- Provide direct care for high-risk obstetrical patients, utilizing consultation resources as needed.
- Participate actively in daily labor and delivery board rounds, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Act as Safety Officer on Labor and Delivery to ensure optimal patient outcomes for all cases.
- Offer clinical support and practice coverage to community physicians and midwives as requested and as safely available.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Board Certified or active candidate in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN).
- Current and valid medical license for the assigned practice site.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive, collaborative relationships with hospital leadership, hospitalist teams, nurses, staff physicians, and corporate staff.
- Significant experience in obstetrical emergency care is preferred.
