OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN Hospitalist) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care to patients, including contraceptive services where available
- Manage direct patient care for high-risk and complex obstetric cases, utilizing maternal-fetal medicine consultations as needed (via telephone or video)
- Participate in daily labor and delivery board rounds to ensure coordinated and informed patient care
- Serve as the Safety Officer on the Labor and Delivery unit, promoting optimal outcomes for all patients
- Support community physicians and midwives by offering clinical assistance and practice coverage as requested and safe

Qualifications & Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN Physician (active candidate status accepted)
- Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in the assigned state
- Demonstrated ability to build strong professional relationships with hospital leadership, hospitalist teams, nurses, staff physicians, and corporate colleagues
- Significant experience in obstetrical emergency care preferred
