OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN Hospitalist) – Full-Time

In this OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN Hospitalist) role, you will work a schedule comprising primarily 24-hour shifts, with some 12-hour or mixed-shift models, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance. You will provide direct care for a diverse patient population, including high-risk cases where Maternal Fetal Medicine support may be accessed remotely. Your responsibilities will also include serving as the Safety Officer on Labor and Delivery, participating in daily board rounds, and providing clinical support to community physicians and midwives as needed. Your expertise will ensure safe, evidence-based care for all patients in the hospital’s labor and delivery unit.

OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN Hospitalist) – Summary- Full-time OB/GYN hospitalist position focused on delivering quality inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care
- Work alongside a multidisciplinary team dedicated to patient safety and positive health outcomes
- Opportunity to support and collaborate with community physicians and midwives
- Deliver comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care to patients, including contraceptive services when available
- Provide direct patient care for high-risk obstetric cases, including those requiring remote Maternal Fetal Medicine support
- Participate in daily Labor and Delivery board rounds to coordinate and optimize patient care
- Serve as Safety Officer on Labor and Delivery, ensuring the highest standards of safety for all patients
- Support community physicians and midwives through clinical assistance and practice coverage as needed
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and adhere to hospital protocols and quality standards
