We are seeking a dedicated OB Hospitalist Physician to join our clinical team and provide exceptional obstetrical and gynecological care. In this essential role, you will contribute to a comprehensive OB Hospitalist program, working collaboratively with a diverse medical team to ensure optimal outcomes for all patients. The OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN Hospitalist) position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact by delivering high-quality care to both routine and high-risk pregnancies, supporting community providers, and serving as a leader in patient safety initiatives.
As an OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN Hospitalist), you will be responsible for delivering direct patient care on the Labor and Delivery unit. Your expertise will be instrumental in managing patients with a variety of needs, including high-risk obstetrical cases, while working closely with Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists through teleconsultation when necessary. You will also serve as the Safety Officer for Labor and Delivery, ensuring that all patients receive safe, coordinated care regardless of their admitting provider. This leadership role is ideal for physicians who are committed to fostering a culture of safety, supporting their peers, and embracing continuous quality improvement.
The OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN Hospitalist) position features flexible scheduling options, with the majority of coverage provided through 24-hour shifts. Some 12-hour and mixed-shift models are also available, and full-time clinicians generally work 5-9 shifts within a 28-day block. This structure allows physicians to maintain a healthy work-life balance while making a meaningful difference in patient care.

To succeed in this role, candidates should be Board Certified or Active Candidates in Obstetrics and Gynecology, possess a valid state medical license at their assigned site, and demonstrate significant experience in obstetrical emergency care.
