We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN Hospitalist) to join our clinical team. As an OB Hospitalist Physician, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care to a diverse patient population. OB Hospitalist Physicians are integral members of the labor and delivery team, responsible for managing high-risk cases, providing direct patient care, and supporting both patients and fellow clinicians. OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN Hospitalist) - Summary- Full-time, hospital-based role providing obstetrical and gynecological care
- Focus on patient safety, quality care delivery, and multidisciplinary collaboration
- Opportunities to serve as a safety officer and participate in daily board rounds
- Engagement with community physicians and midwives for clinical support
- Deliver comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care, including contraceptive services where available
- Manage care for high-risk obstetrical patients, utilizing maternal-fetal medicine consultation as needed
- Participate in daily labor and delivery board rounds to coordinate and optimize patient care
- Serve as the designated safety officer on labor and delivery, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety for all admissions
- Provide clinical support and practice coverage for community physicians and midwives as requested

- Board certified or actively pursuing board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN)
- Licensed, or eligible for licensure, to practice medicine in the appropriate state
- Demonstrated ability to build strong rapport and positive working relationships with hospital leadership, clinical teams, nursing staff, and administrative personnel
- Significant experience in obstetrical emergency care is strongly preferred
- Commitment to maintaining high clinical standards and ongoing professional education
- Experienced OB/GYN physician comfortable with high-acuity, hospital-based care
- Strong communicator with a collaborative, team-oriented approach
- Adaptable to fast-paced, evolving clinical situations
- Proactive about patient safety and continuous quality improvement
- Motivated to support colleagues and contribute to the broader mission of women’s health excellence
- Shifts primarily consist of 24-hour coverage, with some 12-hour or mixed shift models available
- Full-time clinicians typically work 5-9 (24-hour) shifts per 28-day block, ensuring a manageable and predictable schedule
