We are seeking an experienced and committed OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN Hospitalist) to join an established clinical team focused on providing exceptional obstetrical and gynecological care. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work alongside dedicated professionals in an environment that prioritizes patient safety, collaborative care, and clinical excellence. As an OB Hospitalist Physician, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standard of care for patients, while supporting your colleagues and contributing to an outstanding OB hospitalist program.
In this role, you will deliver comprehensive care to a diverse patient population, including high-risk cases where maternal fetal medicine support may be provided remotely. You will serve as a key safety leader within Labor and Delivery, participate in daily board rounds, and collaborate with community physicians and midwives. The full-time schedule is designed to provide work-life balance through a blend of 24-hour and 12-hour shifts, with most full-time clinicians working a set number of 24-hour shifts per block.

OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN Hospitalist) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care, including contraceptive services as applicable
- Deliver direct care to high-risk patients, utilizing remote Maternal Fetal Medicine support when needed
- Participate in daily Labor and Delivery board rounds to ensure coordinated care
- Serve as Safety Officer to ensure all patients experience optimal safety and outcomes
- Support community physicians and midwives with clinical assistance and practice coverage as needed
- Maintain clinical excellence and follow best practices in obstetrical emergency care

Qualifications & Requirements
- Board Certified or active candidate in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN)
- Valid and unrestricted medical license for the assigned site
- Highly relational, with strong communication and collaboration skills
- Demonstrated experience in obstetrical emergency care is preferred
- Ability to build positive relationships with hospital leadership, teams, and stakeholders
